Great Northern Hotel and Ruby Violet launch ice cream room service in time for summer heat wave
Just in time for the latest heat wave and ahead of the National Ice Cream Month (July) Great Northern Hotel, King’s Cross St Pancras has launched a refreshing room service solution with an ice cream menu. Great Northern Hotel have created this naughty but nice service in collaboration with King’s Cross ice cream wizards, Ruby Violet.
The services will be available from now until September 2018 and to settle all guest cravings every guest floor of the hotel has a beautifully equipped Pantry from which guests can help themselves to home-based cakes, tea and Nespresso coffee, other sweet treats, and books, newspapers and magazines all on a complimentary basis.
Ruby Violet creates small batch, handmade ice creams, sorbets and frozen delights. Inspired by founder Julie’s grandmother, Ruby Violet blossomed from a lifelong love of the delectable and the unusual. Ruby Violet have created hundreds of flavours, from traditional classics to unusual delicacies, but whatever the flavour, they always use only organic milk and the most simple or unusual fresh ingredients.
Three tempting flavours will be available at Great Northern Hotel to order in-room; salted caramel & nut brittle, violet chocolate chip and Elderflower & Prosecco sorbet.
