L-R: Triennale Sofa 2, Dadamaino Bench and Triennale Lounge Chair by Studio Rubelli
Rubelli Casa 2018 Collection
This summer sees the annual Focus/18 event at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, London (16-21 September 2018) where The Rubelli Group will launch the new Rubelli Casa collection.
Consisting of a designs by Studio Rubelli and CINECITTA’ designed by architect Marco Piva the new collection takes its design inspiration from the film world. Both Studio Rubelli and Marco Piva’s designs provide a range of elegant interiors which complement existing pieces from the 2017 Rubelli range.
Studio Rubelli’s new creations take a nostalgic 1950’s influence whilst balancing a mix of opulent decoration and restrained mid-century design. The pieces mark a continuity with the past and reference the existing designs by the architect Luca Scacchetti, which have a vast range of upholstery options from Rubelli’s extensive textile portfolio. Particularly interesting is the opportunity to use a combination of different fabrics, illustrated in the Triennale lounge chair, Triennale sofa 2 and Dadamaino bench.
