Antara Spa launches at the Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte

A new refuge of Asian-Inspired Indulgence on Brazil’s Bahia Coast

The Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte, located in one of the largest protected areas on the Bahia coast in Brazil, announces the launch of its new Anantara Spa. One hour’s drive from the city of Salvador, the Ecoresort is now home to the second Anantara Spa in Brazil, following the launch of Anantara Spa at Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo in 2016. In this new Anantara Spa, guests can immerse in restorative healing experiences, uniting body and mind in a tropical oasis of serenity.

Named the World’s Best Hotel Spa Brand at both the 2018 and 2017 World Spa Awards, Anantara Spa offers unique signature wellness journeys deeply rooted in authentic luxury, holistic practices and indigenous cultural traditions. Oriental rituals are inspired by the Thai origins of Anantara, whilst innovative modern therapies and natural products promise the highest definition of relaxation and pampering.
In Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte guests can immerse themselves in nature, where the coconut trees blend into the forest and the white sands of unspoilt beaches frame the vast gardens of the resort. This incredible scenario inspired the architect Sidney Quintela to create a tropical sanctuary of relaxation, where guests can enjoy a private outdoor swimming pool, bi-thermal circuit, hot tub, cold water tank, steam room, dry sauna and jacuzzies. The spa has 11 treatment rooms including two for couples.

This indulgent new spa is rooted in Thai therapies and Asian traditions, yet fused with indigenous and authentic Brazilian elements like the palm oil, coconut and coffee.
All treatments are performed by highly trained and specialised therapists. These spa experts tailor perfect experiences from a comprehensive menu of body and facial treatments and massages, bringing together exclusive ingredients and aromas, and time-honoured techniques to help promote long-term health and wellbeing.
Anantara Spa currently operates over 40 spas in 15 countries in Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe.
