The first Tribe hotel opens in Paris Batignolles

In the heart of the vibrant Batignolles neighbourhood, near Parc Martin Luther King, the chic and contemporary brand has unveiled a 4-star midscale hotel.

With a unique and innovative design, a strong identity, open common areas, new technology and user-friendly services, this is hospitality reinvented for a complete lifestyle experience. A large-scale refurbishment, which began in December 2019 and was completed in September 2020, addresses the new expectations of guests hungry for both innovation and socialising opportunities.

Created in Australia based on Mark and Melissa Peters’ vision, TRIBE introduces groundbreaking hospitality – flexible and distinctive, it enables guests to live, work and play within contemporary interiors, and all with that home from home feeling, only better.

Tribe is a collective that believes hospitality can constantly evolve to be more stylish and sophisticated while simultaneously remaining authentic and affordable. Tribe Paris Batignolles has been designed with this philosophy in mind, and no detail has been left to chance. This new living space will be rooted in the hugely creative community of this world-renowned neighbourhood,”

Antoine Dubois, SVP Global Marketing Strategy at Accor.

The strengths of TRIBE’s DNA:

Hotels designed around the community

The new brand integrates the hotel into the neighbourhood and its community. TRIBE Paris Batignolles is ideally located in the heart of Batignolles, a flourishing district that combines tradition, close ties and the Parisian vibe! A vibrant space conducive to socialising and which is 100% faithful to the “tribe” mindset embodied by the brand. TRIBE aims to offer multi-purpose spaces and to encourage interaction between locals and travellers. This new space provides a sense of being in your “ideal home” with optimum comfort.

A totally redesigned hospitality concept

Multi-purpose spaces designed to allow guests to meet, have fun or simply take a breather. That is the promise of TRIBE, a unique urban space with a vibrant style and a focus on detail and comfort, coupled with a distinctive and sophisticated design.
The flexible layout means space can be optimised for business meetings or get-togethers among friends.

TRIBE Paris Batignolles, a distinctive and innovative design

The guestrooms at TRIBE Paris Batignolles have been completely redesigned by interior designer Thierry D’Istria to create stylish havens offering the utmost comfort.

On the first floor, thanks to a 100m2 extension, the new layout of the common areas creates genuine living spaces for those staying or visiting.

New features include a bar and café, helping to create a space that is both vibrant and full of life throughout the day, glass doors overlooking a leafy terrace, working spaces, a fitness centre and a meeting room.

The designer plays with patterns, materials and colours to enhance the original and elegant spaces. Featuring an innovative and practical design, the venue combines comfortable, quiet spaces so that guests can work, spend time and have fun.

About his work for TRIBE Paris Batignolles :

From a raw space, you have to succeed in telling a story that provokes an emotional response in our guests, whether or not they are design experts. This requires a balance between the spaces, the elements that define them and the pieces that furnish the entire setting. Each space is separated by bookshelves, a bar, a sofa and iconic designer objects. Nothing has been left to chance to tell a story that disrupts the expected, ensuring that everyone can choose the space they want and feel inspired.

“What do I like the most? Many of these details are not immediately apparent to our visitors, yet unconsciously they will feel the effort that has been made to welcome them and to make sure that they feel at home.”

Thierry D’Istria

TRIBE Paris Batignolles, stylish and ingenious guestrooms

The hotel boasts 79 guestrooms, including singles, doubles and twins, as well as communicating rooms that are perfect for families. In each living space, particular emphasis has been placed on user-friendliness without compromising on style or comfort. Kevin Murphy toiletries, a steamer to ensure you always look your best. And essential for relaxing, the Tribe robe, like a bathrobe but more stylish, lets guests move about with confidence: that “home from home feeling, only better” takes on its full meaning. Rooms are genuine cocoons, combining new technology with a space that is both comfortable and welcoming.

These partnerships are concluded locally or nationally and are a perfect fit with the unique character of each Tribe hotel.

Health and safety of guests: a top priority

The bar and dining facilities at TRIBE Paris Batignolles remain open and are applying new measures aimed at protecting both customers and staff and at limiting the spread of the virus. These measures include visitor tracing using a register of customers, hand sanitiser provided in every space, a minimum of 1-metre space between all tables, and a limit of 26 people in the lobby. The layout of the spaces has been modified to ensure a maximum of 6 people per table, with a dedicated server for each table, table only payments, buffets replaced by table service and, lastly, the thorough washing of cutlery and tableware at high temperatures.

Nothing has been left to chance, meaning that guests can enjoy an optimal experience in total compliance with health regulations.
